Curriculum
Behavior Support/Curriculum Assistance (CA) is a credit-bearing class designed to support students with behavior and emotional disorders with regular education course work, effective academic work habits, study skills/organization and transition activities. Students will also participate in social skills lessons that will assist with improving communication skills, emotions, solving problems, resolving conflicts and setting goals. Students are expected to bring academic work and notes from their regular classes into CA daily. CA Grading Procedure
Students’ grades will be recorded on Power Schools weekly. Students can earn up to 100 points per day in the following areas

The average of the weekly grades will result in the quarter grade. The final grade will include:
Quarter 1- 40%
Quarter 2-40%
Final Exam-20%
Tutorials
CA teacher will work with student and regular education teacher to get additional help when if needed by the student
Disciplinary Policy
In order for appropriate learning to take place, class time cannot be hindered by student misbehavior. Students are expected to follow classroom rules and Green Hope rules. Please review Green Hope High School Honor Code and the Student Handbook. We do enforce the policies listed below (This will only apply for in person learning students only)

Students cannot email me from their personal accounts, they must use their Wake County email or they will not get a response. Parents are free to use any email that they choose to communicate with teachers.
